As a licensed mental health professional and Air Force Veteran, I moved to Kona in 2023 for a job as Vet Center Director with the Department of Veterans Affairs. My love of running and the outdoors began early in life and has continued as a lifelong habit. I love to participate in road races, and am so pleased to have connected with the supportive running community on the Big Island.
I love how the island’s natural beauty motivates me to be outdoors, and the path on Ane Keahokalole is my favorite in Kona. I am excited to be a part of PATH as we work to improve our community with the establishment of more safe and accessible trails, bikeways, and pathways, promoting health, wellness, and community connection.
