I have lived on the Big Island for over ten years and enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, recreational biking, and ocean-related pursuits. My professional background is in international development and finance as a U.S. Senior Foreign Service Officer and staff with the Asian Development Bank. I am now interested in serving in voluntary roles in our community, drawing on my first volunteer experience as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Tonga in the 1970s, including predominately bicycle transport and walking for three years. I am committed to helping advance PATH’s core mission to connect people and places across Hawaii County.
