I am a full time resident of Hawaii Island. Married with children and grandchildren, I have a bachelor’s degree from California State University,
Chico in Sustainable Tourism and a minor in Anthropology.
Before retiring I owned and operated my own real estate sales office with an emphasis in residential and land sales and leasing. My real estate business required knowledge in all aspects of land division, as well as working with private landowners, nonprofit organizations, local and state governments in subdivision development, and easements procurement.
I have been on the board of directors of the Northern California Regional Land Trust, the City of Chico Parking Commission, and City of Chico Airport Commission. I have worked as a subcontractor for The Nature Conservancy identifying and helping acquire land and land easements along the Sacramento River from Red Bluff to Sacramento, California.
My interests include scuba diving, snorkeling, canoe paddling, hiking, running, walking, swimming, beekeeping, woodworking and volunteering in local civic events.
